30 Days of Me - Day 2

I still need to upload those Puppy Pictures for you guys. They're growing. We think there's one of each color that's going to take their moms traits and the others take their dads. Two of them(one of each color) is bigger than the other. I have a pretty good picture where you can tell the difference. On to Day 2 of 30 Days of Me

Day 2: Your favorite movie

I have many many favorite movies. But the one Movie I absolutely love and is my all time Favorite is:
A Walk to Remember.

Starring Shane West and Mandy Moore.  I'm sure you all have seen this movie or atleast heard of it. I pretty much love all the movies that are made movies from books by Nicholas Sparks.

Have a Fabulous Day!!

30 Days of Me - Day 1

I have sad sad news. We lost a puppy yesterday. It was the smallest girl. Friday, She started having trouble breathing...Hubby and I had her back to breathing right. But after that we were worried about her and keeping a close eye on her. Last night She stopped feeding. She started to get dehydrated and seemed almost lifeless. I picked her up as She started fighting for air. I did everything I could to help her breathe but she was to far gone. She took her last breath in my hand. It was heartbreaking.

As for the other puppies, their doing Great. I'm sorry I haven't posted the puppy pictures yet. I really didn't have much time this weekend. Saturday, We went over to the hubbys best friends. I went shopping with his momma. Me and her got Our first Baby Stuff. It was so fun!! Then Sunday was all about that puppy. I promise I'll post more puppy pictures soon. On to Day 1 of 30 Days of me.

Friday Fill-In #10

It's Friday!! You know what that means. Its time for the MilSpouse Friday Fill-In.If you want to join on the fun. All you have to do is head over to Wife of a Sailor for all the details and to link up.
This Week's Friday Fill-In:

1.What secret indulgence do you act on while your spouse is away? (from Devil Dog Darling)
I don't really have a "Secret" indulgence while hubbys away. He knows all my Indulgences. I have many things I do when hubbys away. I cook and eat things he would find absolutely disgusting. I also stay up very late and sleep in late. I don't shave my legs. I do LOTS of shopping and I want A LOT of my favorite shows that he despises.

2.If you were a spice, what would you be? (from New Girl On Post)
I Would Definitely be Cinnamon, If I were a Spice. I just love Cinnamon and Sugar on my toast and Cinnamon in my Pancake Mix. Plus many Other things.

3.Where do you go for support when your significant other is deployed? (from Texas Meets Washington)
When the Hubby's Deployed I go to my Dogtags and Diamonds and Uncle Sams Bride's. Both Military Significant Other Forums, If you havent heard of them. I also turn to other Miltary Wife Friends and My Wonderful Mother.

4.What is the oldest thing you own? (from A Troop's Girl)
Hmmmm...the oldest thing I own...I'm not sure about this one. Lol. It would either be my baby book or a Baby Blanket that was made for me, That I still have.

5.How did you vision your future pre-military? (from Daddy's Duty)
I always imagined being married with kids. but I never imagined marrying into the Military and living this life. I always wanted to travel the world and I guess this is a good way to do it. I still haven't seen the Ocean, yet though.

Thank God it's Friday it's been one heck of a week. Between going to the clinic, Confirming with the Military that I'm pregnant, to having puppies and missing sleep due to it. I'm super ready for the weekend. I have a lot more puppy pictures to share with you all. Which I will probably post sometime this weekend so be looking for them! Until then, Have a Fabulous Day and a Great Weekend!!

Puppies, Puppies, Puppies.

Me and The Hubby woke up at 12:04 am to Yelping, Our Chihuahua Whining and A Quiet Squeal. I jumped out of bed and then so did he. Trying to figure out what had woken us up. Then we progressed to hear the squeaking. I walked into our Living Room and saw something Black moving on the Carpet. I turned on the light and Thats when we realized our Yorkie was in Labor and having her puppies. We weren't Expecting her to give birth for another week but its normal for smaller breeds to go into labor a week early. Hubby got her Whelping box out as I held the puppy to keep him warm. This was her first litter and She was freaking out so She wasn't responding to the puppy very well. But in time as the Puppies came she warmed up to them and around 4:10 am, She had her 5th and Last Puppy. So we have a litter of 5 Chorkies. 3 Boys and 2 Girls. I don't have many good pictures yet but I will post the ones we do have.

All 5 Puppies.
Just taken at 11:30 am 8/25/2010

Poor Hubby and I are both extremely exhausted and haven't been able to sleep since the puppies have been born. Because The Hubby had to go to work at 5 am and I'm having to keep a close eye on the puppies. And I will leave you today with that. I will most likely have more pictures the next coming days and keep you all Updated on them as they Grow. Have a Fabulous Day!!

Hello, Morning Sickness.

Well. I do believe my 'morning' sickness has arrived. My nausea gets worse and worse. I came so close to losing my Breakfast this morning. Yuck. This is the one thing I'm definitely NOT excited about. If you all have any advice for me on this, please do give it. I also think the Hubby is having Sympathy Pains. If you have advice for him too, I'll relay him the message.

My Best Friend called me yesterday in tears. She found out yesterday that she too is pregnant. She's between 6-8 weeks. She wasn't ready for this. She has a two year old already. and I definitely wasn't ready for the next thing that she told me. That it could be my brothers. Talk about shocking but I also kinda figured something was going on between them lately. My brother definitely doesn't need to be having a baby, however. He's 34 years old, Jobless and Still living with my Mother.

On a Brighter Note: We'll have puppies in about a week or Two!! We're super excited! I can't wait to see them! I will post pictures when their born.
Well, I'm sorry this is so short but I'm extremely nauseated and feeling sick. So until next time...
Have a Fabulous Day!!

Friday Fill-In

It's Friday!! You know what that means, Another MilSpouse Friday Fill-In!!

to get in on Friday Fill-Ins. If you want to join in on the action, Go on Over to wife of a sailor and join in!!

1. If you could be a fugitive from the law for whatever reason, what would your crime be?
Hmmm...This one absolutely has me stumped. lol. It would have to be something for my family or something sexy or entertaining. lol.

2. How long do you think you will be a military family?
I'm not really sure but most likely For 14 more years...Me and Mr. D have talked about this alot and he will most likely reenlist next year and make it a career.

3. What’s your favorite recipe?
That's a Toughie. It would have to come between two recipes. My Grandpa's Cookies and his Meatloaf. My Grandpa was an amazing person and cook.  Check out My Recipe page for them recipes Plus more!

4. What would you want your last five words to be when you leave this life?
I'm not sure. Somewhere between I had a great life, or telling my family I love them.

5. Where do you hope to retire?
Hmmm, Thats also a toughie. I'm not really sure, I kinda would like to retire in our hometown in Missouri but it's really nothing special, it is home though. I use to dream that I'd retire somewhere near the beach for some odd reason. lol. but now I just want it to be where our friends and family are.

Good Questions!! Well, This weekend is Me and Mr. D's First Anniversary!!! I'm super excited!! Although I honestly haven't got his present yet(Oops.) It's not completely my fault. I don't drive so the only time I can get out is by him or friends. So I'll probably just drag him to the store, knowing what I'm getting him and it will be a surprise when we get to the store. lol. I'm also going to leave him little notes throughout the house. Well that's it for today...I hope everyone has a fabulous Weekend!!!!

Mrs. D

Thursday, August 19, 2010

Woohoo! It's almost the Weekend!

We've been busy busy this week. Michael has had a Softball game almost every night. He plays with his Shop on Base. You know the little leagues they have. lol. They had a Game Tuesday Night, Last Night and they have another one Friday Night. They haven't won one game. I know I'm suppose to have faith in my team but really, They suck. Lol. They haven't had a practice in like 3 months!!

I have something I have to get off my chest. I don't like Liars, Fakers, or Two-Faced People. As you all know I found out this week that I'm pregnant. If your gonna go tell me and my husband your excited for us and then go behind our backs and tell other people we should have waited then your Two-Faced and its not acceptable. Don't tell us one thing and then say another. BE Honest and tell us what you think. However I dont really care what you have to say. You of all people have no room to talk. Yes, A Certain Person told me and Michael they were excited for us and then told some other people we should have waited. Really? You have no room to talk. You have kids who are all by different fathers. You know who you are. Seriously?

Thanks for letting me vent there, I feel better now. As for more info on me and the bay-bay. I'm 4 weeks and Due in April. I'm so excited! I'm nervous though. I gotta start eating healthier and being healthier for me and the baby.  It's kinda funny, we found out we're pregnant right before Our Anniversary. Its this weekend!! We're going to dinner, I have no idea where though and then playing glow in the dark Mini Golf. He has a surprise for me after that he says. We will see. Well I will leave you with that today. Have a Fabulous Thursday!!

I'll be going to the Dr. next week to confirm. I'm so excited! Michael was so cute. He was getting ready for work and I handed him the test he stared at it for a good couple minutes and then said "we're having a baby", kissed me said "congrats Momma" and kissed me again. We're both super thrilled!! =D I'm so excited I have no idea what else I want to blog about. lol. so I'm extremely sorry this blog is so short. Have a Fabulous Wednesday!

Monday, Monday.

Oh...Monday, Monday. How could it be? I really despise Mondays. Its goodbye weekend, Helllloooo weekdays. This weekend went by way to fast. But I had an extremely awesome and productive weekend. Saturday, I had lunch and went shopping with a new found friend. She's awesome and has the cutest baby ever that is until me and Michael have one :P Sunday was a busy busy day. Michael went through some junk since we'll be moving soon. We traveled down memory lane, it was fun. lol. then we went grocery shopping and the laundry mat. I'm super excited for next weekend because Sunday the 22nd is our First Wedding Anniversary!!

We're trying to prepare ourselves for puppies. Our Yorkie is 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. We had her only a month or so, when she went into heat and our Chihuahua got to her. So now we have 2 1/2 weeks or so before the Chorkies are born. Yes, their called Chorkies not Yohuahuas.

And with that I will leave you with a few pictures, since todays blog is so short.

MilSpouse Friday Fill-in

This is my first fill-in, of course since I'm new to the blog world and all. If you want to participate go over to Wife of a Sailor.

1.What is ONE thing you’d like civilians to understand about being a military family?
One thing that drives me insane that I hear all the time from civilians is that we get free housing and that they're paying for us to live for free. This is not true. We don't get free housing. We pay for our housing and bills out of a paycheck, just like civilians.

2.What is your favorite mistake?
That would probably be sneaking out to hang out with my bestie when we were smaller. I always got grounded for months at a time but it was so worth it because those were the best times I had with her and they were precious because she passed away 2 weeks short of her 16th birthday..

3.What indulgence could you give up for a year?
Soda. I drink it way to much. I would be a much healthier person.

4.If you could be a winged animal, what would you be?
I guess just saying "A Bird" wouldn't be to good. I honestly don't know my birds that well though. I think I'll go with a Blue Bird. Because they're pretty and My home state bird(Missouri).

5.What is one question you’d like to see asked in a future MFF?
What's your best advice for newbies to the military?
If you could have any Super Power, what would it be?

Awesome Questions. So this weekend should be fun. I've got plans with a fellow military wife. She's married to an Airman but she herself is also an airman?!? We became friends while our hubbys were deployed together this last deployment. Since I did the fill-in and its about me, I wont write anything about me or hubby today. Have a great Weekend! :)

We've got the Fever...

Baby Fever that is. Before Michael last deployed(last December). We had talked about trying to concieve. While he was deployed he decided he wanted to wait. I think it was because he was deployed and thinking about the things he'd probably miss. I also think that finding out his brothers girlfriend is pregnant was another reason. Just recently however, like a month and a half ago he out of the blue just said "I want this". I was like what? ok. Awesome. I've been wanting a baby for a while now. After reading Mrs.P from A Little Pink in a World of Camos blog about Johnny and Arianna.

I told Michael about her story. We know If He deploys again, He'll be going to afghanistan and most likely be doing convoys. So I told him If something were to happen to him...Not saying something will but If something did happen, I want to have a piece of him. He then said thats why he had the sudden decision of really wanting to get pregnant. Thats not the only reason for this baby fever of course. I love babies. Some people say we haven't been married long enough for us to try. Other people say Get with it, make them babies while your young! No, I dont care what people say. I'm just tired of people talking to me with their opinions of whether we should or shouldnt be trying. Its Our Decision and Nobody elses. So, Now We've been trying for about a month and half. I want this more than ever. So send us baby dust, thoughts and prayers.

My First Blog

I love to write. Atleast I use to. Then I got busy planning a wedding and then being a wife that I forgot about it. That's why I've decided to start this blog. You know, to get back into writing and such. I use to love writing poems and such. Just to get things off my chest, to make life bearable...but I havent wrote in a long time, so please bare with me. For this First Blog, I figured since its my blog and all that I would introduce myself, my hubby, my dogs, etc etc. You know so you readers will know what and who I'm talking about, So to speak. Here goes:

My Name is Sarah. I am 21 years old, but will be 22 on September 5th. I have been an Air Force Wife for almost a year now. I will not say its been easy, it hasn't been...More on that later. I am a Housewife. Now some people don't understand why women are still housewives in this day and age but let me tell you...I absolutely Love it. When me or my husband are asked what I do for a living my husbands reply is "She's a Full Time Military Wife". If you ask just me I will tell you I am a full time Military Housewife. I cook, clean, take care of bills while he's deployed and much more. I'm an aspiring photograper. I'm thinking about going to school for photography. I'm a country girl. I love the great outdoors. I love to go Fishing, Muddin, Bonfires, and other country stuff. I love to cook and bake. I love finding new recipes to try, as long as my picky husband likes it. I'm very family oriented.

My Husband's name is Michael. He is 23 years old, 24 on September 26th. He has been in The United States Air Force since he graduated in 2005. He's a Complete Country Boy. He loves to fish and hunt, Big Trucks, Going Muddin, Shooting Things, Cruising in his Car, and Playing Video Games(Which drives me Crazy Sometimes, If I'm not playing too). He's goofy as heck, but that's one of the reasons I fell in love with him. We met in High School. I was a freshman, Him a Junior.  We met through a mutual friend. By the next year, I was crazy about him. He was scared to date me, so he said. We dated a little then but we broke up. He left for the Air Force on My Birthday. We were just really good friends at that time. We lost contact then but got back into contact about 6 months to a year later. We tried Long distance then but he couldn't do it and broke up with me. On October 17, 2007...Michael begged me back into his life. At that point, I was so close to giving up on him but he begged me to forgive him and give him one more chance. He apologized for everything he put me through and told me he believed I was the one. So of course I took him back. In December 2007, He proposed to me over the phone before he deployed in March 2008. He got back from his deployment September 2008 and came home on Leave in November 2008 which is when he made the engagement official with a ring. We got married August 22, 2009. We spent the most wonderful 4 months together before he deployed a few days before Christmas. Yep, Our First Christmas Together was spent apart. Please Don't feel sorry for me. It was hard, yes. But I did choose this life. I knew what I was getting myself into when I said I do. We are fornate. He's been deployed twice and every time has been hard and scary. but He's made it home safe, both times. I can't imagine the pain if he didn't come home safely. He is the love of my life.

We have two dogs. A Chihuahua named Bubby. He's about 1 1/2 - 2 years old. Michael had him for a little while before we got married. He found Bubby on his doorstep one night. Poor thing was abused and sickly thin. So Michael took him in. When I moved in, he became My baby boy. He loves to cuddle and sleep under the blanket when your under a blanket. He hates kisses and loves to play especially with daddy. Our other Dog is a Yorkie named Tinkerbelle. She'll be 2 years old in October. We've only had her since May. She's Adorable and full of energy. She loves to play. She will tear up a sqeaky toy in less than 5 minutes. After she had been with us for a month, She went into Heat. Bubby got to her and We're now expecting Chorkies in about 3 weeks.

That's a little glipse of my life. Welcome to My Crazy Camo World! This Blog is mainly for me to rant about everything in my life from My hubby, to our fur babies, to making babies, to my love-hate relationship with the military and more.
