Hey guys! Sorry, I'm always MIA. Monster man keeps me busy!! He's 3 months old now! Can you believe it? Well its friday so here is the Friday Fill-In Plus Five Crooked Halos' Five Question Friday, Which I've decided to start doing. lol. If I can continue to log on to Blogger. Anyways Link up if you want to join in!

If you wanna join in on the fun just head on over to Wife of a Sailor for details and to Link up!!

This Weeks Questions are

If I could be on any reality TV show, I'd want to be on
The Amazing Race, They seem to go on so many fun adventures.

This past Thanksgiving was
The first Thanksgiving in 5 years that I've spent away from Hubby...We've ALWAYS spent thanksgiving together, its the only holiday for some odd reason we've always got to spend together.

I'm looking forward to December because
it's My favorite month of the year! Plus it's Brayden's First Christmas!!

One thing I'd like to accomplish this month is
Catching up on my sleep! That is if Brayden allows. He sleeps well through the night now but I still haven't caught up on my sleep

To me, winter is
not fun. I do NOT like cold unless there's Snow on the ground. lol.

What is your favorite Christmas decoration in your house?
Hmmmm, This would Have to be...My Little Patriotic Christmas Tree. Yes, I have two Christmas Trees, normally. Though since I'm at my moms for this Christmas I only have my little tree. It's a 4' Blue(Literally) Tree, With White Lights and Red and White Ornaments. I LOVE it.

Do you finish your Christmas shopping early or are you a last minute type?
Well, I would say I'm in the middle. I'm not early but I'm not late. I just kinda buy as I go along too. For Example, Every time I go somewhere if I see something I want to get for a gift I throw it in the cart, When I feel like I've finally have bought enough for everyone, I'm done. lol.

When do you turn on your heat?
When it gets Cold, Whenever that is. Yes, It's cold out so The heat is on.

Do you ever wish your blog was private?
Nope. Not many People Know about it Anyways.

Do you put your deodorant on before of after you put on your shirt?
Most of The time it's Before. Sometimes After.

I hope Everyone has a Great Weekend! This weekend will be full of Christmas Festivities for me. Living Windows(cool event, Basically all the downtown businesses in the Capital City have little concerts and stuff in their windows. it's REALLY cool!) and then the Town Christmas Parade Saturday!

Mil-Spouse Friday Fill In #49

Hey Ya'll. Sorry I've been MIA. I've just been Super busy with Brayden coming so soon, I've been preparing for him. So I'm going to attempt to blog more, no promises though because today marks 35 weeks!!! You guys know what that means? Pretty soon I'll be having this little munchkin of mine and then I'll be busy for a little while until I have a routine with him.
Hubby is now in the sandbox =( He left the end of June. So its been about 3 weeks now and I miss him like Crazy. I'm ready for this deployment to be over and it's barely started. Ugh. Oh well, Everyday is another day down.

It's Friday! That means its time for another Mil-Spouse Friday!!

Wanna Join in? Just head on over to Wife of a Sailor for details and to link up!!

This weeks Questions are:

If you could have a private concert with any singer, who would it be?
Hmmm...Blake Shelton. I love me some Blake *Licks lips* lol.

Is there anything you do to supplement your family’s income?
I don't. When we got married hubby told me I didn't have to work and I didn't drive so I didn't get a job for that reason. Maybe Someday I will get the job I want.

During your pregnancy (whether past, present, or future), what did you nickname your unborn baby before you knew the sex?
When we first found out and seen the first ultrasound, I started calling him my little bean. Then the next ultrasound, He looked like a little Bee and I told Hubby who thought I was crazy for calling our baby a bug, lol. But I started calling him our Lovebug.

Have you ever won a blog giveaway? If so what did you win?
Nope. I havent entered many either.

If I looked into your refrigerator right now, what would I find?
LOTS of stuff. Lol. I couldn't even tell you everything in my parents fridge, which since I'm here the next year is mine too. lol. We have 4 people in this house and they just throw the most craziest things in there and forget about them...Like the other I found Candy Corn from last Halloween!!!

Well thats about all I have for today! I hope everyone has a Fabulous Weekend!!

MilSpouse Friday Fill-In #41

It's Friday!! You know what that means?? I'm another week in Pregnancy! I'm 27 Weeks Today!!! Ahhh!! I'm so excited! Next Friday, I probably won't be posting. Actually, Next Thursday-Tuesday I will be MIA...again. Sorry, I promise I'll be back Wednesday with full details of why. It's very Exciting!!! You know what else Friday Means..It's time for another MilSpouse Friday Fill-In!!

Wanna Join in? Just Head on Over to Wife of a Sailor for details and To Link up!!

This Weeks Questions Are:

What is one of the things you always do special when your husband returns from a deployment?

Well, I stock the fridge with his Favorite Things...Diet Mtn Dew and Whiskey..Plus his favorite foods. I also Make sure to have cheesecake waiting for him. Then I get the house nice and clean. The Day of Homecoming I get all prettied & dressed up(Usually, unless its a crazy early hour for me to pick him up) And go pick him up!

What do you do to help your spouse and/or yourself re-adjust after a deployment or long separation?

Since we do it almost every year, There's no question, We both just deal. I do give him leeway and let him do what he wants for a couple weeks. What else can you do other than be patient?

Are you a crazy coupon clipper (I’m becoming one, so share your secrets with me)?

Nope. I do clip coupons but I'm not Crazy about it. I do clip What I know I Need and Forget about the other coupons. But sometimes I forget to cip Coupons.

What’s your most treasured memory of you and your spouse (not counting your wedding – that’s a given)?

That's a tough one. I have so many memories with hubby that I treasure. But if I have to pick I'd have to say the day of my first ultrasound. Hearing the baby's heartbeat for the first time is absolutely amazing and hubby was so cute! It's either that or the day we found out Brayden was a boy...Thats another story itself.

If you could live anywhere overseas, what would you pick and why?

Hmm...Anywhere? I'm not sure. I've always wanted to See Italy so I guess I would pick Italy.

I hope everyone has a Fabulous weekend!!

MilSpouse Friday Fill-In # 19

It's Friday and you know what that means. Its time for another MilSpouse Friday Fill-In. Want to join in? Head on over to Wife of a Sailor for details and to link up!

This week’s questions are:

♥ What’s the nicest thing a stranger has ever done for you?

When someone acknowledges me as a military wife. It always feels so good when a stranger doesn't just thank him but me too. Plus I always feel super proud when someone thanks him.

♥ If you are having a hard time going to sleep, what do you do to help yourself?

Put in a movie or turn on the TV, Play on my Nintendo DS, or get online.

♥ Name something that makes you wish you were a kid again.

Bills, Housework, Men. lol. It was so much easier when I was kid and didn't have to worry about bills, money, a clean house and a happy man. All I had to worry about was playing and keeping friends. lol.

♥ What is something you never believed until you experienced it?

A Happy Marriage. I grew up with my mom single or with many men. Then she married my step dad when I was 8 and they're relationship isn't abusive but they don't seem happy. They constantly argue and are always mad at each other. Then I married Michael and learned about love, compromise and happiness in a marriage.

♥ What can’t you say “no” to?

Hubby. I have an absolute hard time telling him no. Even though we shouldn't spend money constantly, Hubby still always ends up convincing me otherwise. He always has an answer for everything.

Awesome Questions!! Well, This weekend will be our last weekend here for a few weeks. As I said previously, We're going home to Missouri on leave. I can't wait!! This weekend will also be fun due to Halloween!! Me and hubby will hopefully get to wear our matching costumes this year to a costume party. Last year, we ended up not being able to because he got called in due to the River Flooding. We will see. Well, that's about it for today. I hope ya'll have a Wonderful Weekend and Happy Halloween!!

MilSpouse Friday Fill-In

It's Friday!! You know what that means!! Its time for another MilSpouse Friday Fill-In. Want to Join in? Then head on over to Wife of a Sailor for details and to link up!!

This week’s questions are:

What is the silliest get-up you have ever worn outside of a Halloween party?
Hmmm...I can't think of anything outside of halloween costumes I've worn.

What is something that you gave up in order to live the military lifestyle?
It sure wasn't my life before then. Before I married Michael and moved here I was a Walmart Cashier that lived with her parents. I miss the kids I use to watch like crazy and My hometown in Missouri. I'd say the thing I gave up for the military lifestyle is either my sanity or my ability to plan things out. Sure I can plan different plans. You know, If this happens this will be the plan but if this happens we'll plan this. I use to love just planning my weeks to my liking. Now it has to be Plan A, Plan B, Plan C, Plan D and so forth for a day in a weekend.

If money wasn’t a factor and you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? And why?
I've always wanted to go to Italy. Why? Because Its just always been a dream of mine to go there.

If you were going to join the military, what branch would you join? Or which MOS/rating would you choose?
Air Force, Of Course. Something to do with Public Affairs or Intelligence.

What is your favorite thing to make for dinner?
Hmm..I'm not sure. I love to cook. I guess my favorite thing to make would be one of my favorite recipes and Hubbys too. Butter & Garlic Chicken Noodles. MMM its so good!

Todays October 1st! Which means its time for Fall!! I love Fall!! But October 1st also means that today marks One month Since our baby became an angel. :(
This Weekend should be full of House Hunting and who knows what else. Hopefully we have some fun this weekend. Well thats it for today. I hope everyone has a Wonderful Weekend!

MilSpouse Friday Fill-In #14

Its Friday!!! And you know what that means! It's time for Another MilSpouse Friday Fill-In. Head on Over to Wife of a Sailor to Join and Link up.

This week’s questions are:

What characteristic about yourself has either been strengthened or weakened due to your experience as a Military Spouse?
Hmmm...I'm definately a stronger person all together since becoming a Military Spouse. I've become accustom to change. One thing I've learned is DONT make plans, if you do they most likely will change. If you do make plans have a back up plan. An incase your hubby has to work plan.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
I don't think I could tell you a favorite vacation spot. My Vacations have always been Little weekend vacations to the local Vacationing Towns in Missouri, The Lake of the Ozarks and Branson. Bransons pretty cool. Six Flags in Arlington is Pretty fun, Dallas is a pretty fun Vacation Spot but I can't tell you a favorite because I haven't had many.

If you could have any fast-food restaurant in the food court on base/post what would you pick?
Oh man, thats a toughie. There's only one place on base that I go to Charleys. I LOVE Charleys. But we need more of a selection. I would have to go with

Where did you go on your honeymoon?
No where. We haven't had a honeymoon.

If you could have any job in the world regardless of money, degree or experience, which job would you have and why?
I have no idea...Something Fun, Awesome and Adventurous though. Hmmm...

Good Questions!! So This weekend should be fun. Lots of things planned. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

This week’s questions are:

1. How do you spend your deployment money, do you save, pay off bills or enjoy the extra money while it is there to buy the things you do not normally have? (from Troop Petrie)
I would love to say we save deployment money. We try to save it but we usually end up spending it on things we normally don't have and enjoy it.

2. If you could relive one occasion or moment, what would it be? (from Currently On Land)
I would relive my wedding and the planning. It was an amazing wedding and one of the best days of my life. My mother wound up in the hospital during it. So I would definately relive it and make sure she was okay during it.

3. What’s the worst job you ever had and if it was so bad why did you take it? (from Faith and Deploying)
Well, I've only had One job my entire life. That job SUCKED. I was a walmart cashier. I took it because it was my first job and basically the only place hiring in the small town I lived in.

4. If you could play any character on TV, who would you be?  (from Many Waters)
Ohhhh....Thats a tough one. I would have to play....Christina on Grey's Anatomy. I Love her!

5. If you could become the world’s expert in something, what would it be? (from Army of Two)
Another tough one. I'm not sure. Something that would make me wealthy, I guess. lol.

Thank God it's Friday!! I love the weekends! I hate that they always go by so fast. This weekend we're going to watch Resident Evil: 3D. I'm super excited for that. We were gonna shoot bows (Hubby got me a bow for my birthday) but now he's in a sling because he has fluid around his elbow, so I doubt thats gonna happen until he's better. Well thats about all I got today. Have a fabulous Weekend!!

This Week's Friday Fill-In:

1.What secret indulgence do you act on while your spouse is away? (from Devil Dog Darling)
I don't really have a "Secret" indulgence while hubbys away. He knows all my Indulgences. I have many things I do when hubbys away. I cook and eat things he would find absolutely disgusting. I also stay up very late and sleep in late. I don't shave my legs. I do LOTS of shopping and I want A LOT of my favorite shows that he despises.

2.If you were a spice, what would you be? (from New Girl On Post)
I Would Definitely be Cinnamon, If I were a Spice. I just love Cinnamon and Sugar on my toast and Cinnamon in my Pancake Mix. Plus many Other things.

3.Where do you go for support when your significant other is deployed? (from Texas Meets Washington)
When the Hubby's Deployed I go to my Dogtags and Diamonds and Uncle Sams Bride's. Both Military Significant Other Forums, If you havent heard of them. I also turn to other Miltary Wife Friends and My Wonderful Mother.

4.What is the oldest thing you own? (from A Troop's Girl)
Hmmmm...the oldest thing I own...I'm not sure about this one. Lol. It would either be my baby book or a Baby Blanket that was made for me, That I still have.

5.How did you vision your future pre-military? (from Daddy's Duty)
I always imagined being married with kids. but I never imagined marrying into the Military and living this life. I always wanted to travel the world and I guess this is a good way to do it. I still haven't seen the Ocean, yet though.

Thank God it's Friday it's been one heck of a week. Between going to the clinic, Confirming with the Military that I'm pregnant, to having puppies and missing sleep due to it. I'm super ready for the weekend. I have a lot more puppy pictures to share with you all. Which I will probably post sometime this weekend so be looking for them! Until then, Have a Fabulous Day and a Great Weekend!!

Friday Fill-In

It's Friday!! You know what that means, Another MilSpouse Friday Fill-In!!

to get in on Friday Fill-Ins. If you want to join in on the action, Go on Over to wife of a sailor and join in!!

1. If you could be a fugitive from the law for whatever reason, what would your crime be?
Hmmm...This one absolutely has me stumped. lol. It would have to be something for my family or something sexy or entertaining. lol.

2. How long do you think you will be a military family?
I'm not really sure but most likely For 14 more years...Me and Mr. D have talked about this alot and he will most likely reenlist next year and make it a career.

3. What’s your favorite recipe?
That's a Toughie. It would have to come between two recipes. My Grandpa's Cookies and his Meatloaf. My Grandpa was an amazing person and cook.  Check out My Recipe page for them recipes Plus more!

4. What would you want your last five words to be when you leave this life?
I'm not sure. Somewhere between I had a great life, or telling my family I love them.

5. Where do you hope to retire?
Hmmm, Thats also a toughie. I'm not really sure, I kinda would like to retire in our hometown in Missouri but it's really nothing special, it is home though. I use to dream that I'd retire somewhere near the beach for some odd reason. lol. but now I just want it to be where our friends and family are.

Good Questions!! Well, This weekend is Me and Mr. D's First Anniversary!!! I'm super excited!! Although I honestly haven't got his present yet(Oops.) It's not completely my fault. I don't drive so the only time I can get out is by him or friends. So I'll probably just drag him to the store, knowing what I'm getting him and it will be a surprise when we get to the store. lol. I'm also going to leave him little notes throughout the house. Well that's it for today...I hope everyone has a fabulous Weekend!!!!

MilSpouse Friday Fill-in

This is my first fill-in, of course since I'm new to the blog world and all. If you want to participate go over to Wife of a Sailor.

1.What is ONE thing you’d like civilians to understand about being a military family?
One thing that drives me insane that I hear all the time from civilians is that we get free housing and that they're paying for us to live for free. This is not true. We don't get free housing. We pay for our housing and bills out of a paycheck, just like civilians.

2.What is your favorite mistake?
That would probably be sneaking out to hang out with my bestie when we were smaller. I always got grounded for months at a time but it was so worth it because those were the best times I had with her and they were precious because she passed away 2 weeks short of her 16th birthday..

3.What indulgence could you give up for a year?
Soda. I drink it way to much. I would be a much healthier person.

4.If you could be a winged animal, what would you be?
I guess just saying "A Bird" wouldn't be to good. I honestly don't know my birds that well though. I think I'll go with a Blue Bird. Because they're pretty and My home state bird(Missouri).

5.What is one question you’d like to see asked in a future MFF?
What's your best advice for newbies to the military?
If you could have any Super Power, what would it be?

Awesome Questions. So this weekend should be fun. I've got plans with a fellow military wife. She's married to an Airman but she herself is also an airman?!? We became friends while our hubbys were deployed together this last deployment. Since I did the fill-in and its about me, I wont write anything about me or hubby today. Have a great Weekend! :)
