Mil-Spouse Friday Fill In #49

Hey Ya'll. Sorry I've been MIA. I've just been Super busy with Brayden coming so soon, I've been preparing for him. So I'm going to attempt to blog more, no promises though because today marks 35 weeks!!! You guys know what that means? Pretty soon I'll be having this little munchkin of mine and then I'll be busy for a little while until I have a routine with him.
Hubby is now in the sandbox =( He left the end of June. So its been about 3 weeks now and I miss him like Crazy. I'm ready for this deployment to be over and it's barely started. Ugh. Oh well, Everyday is another day down.

It's Friday! That means its time for another Mil-Spouse Friday!!

This weeks Questions are:

If you could have a private concert with any singer, who would it be?
Hmmm...Blake Shelton. I love me some Blake *Licks lips* lol.

Is there anything you do to supplement your family’s income?
I don't. When we got married hubby told me I didn't have to work and I didn't drive so I didn't get a job for that reason. Maybe Someday I will get the job I want.

During your pregnancy (whether past, present, or future), what did you nickname your unborn baby before you knew the sex?
When we first found out and seen the first ultrasound, I started calling him my little bean. Then the next ultrasound, He looked like a little Bee and I told Hubby who thought I was crazy for calling our baby a bug, lol. But I started calling him our Lovebug.

Have you ever won a blog giveaway? If so what did you win?
Nope. I havent entered many either.

If I looked into your refrigerator right now, what would I find?
LOTS of stuff. Lol. I couldn't even tell you everything in my parents fridge, which since I'm here the next year is mine too. lol. We have 4 people in this house and they just throw the most craziest things in there and forget about them...Like the other I found Candy Corn from last Halloween!!!

Well thats about all I have for today! I hope everyone has a Fabulous Weekend!!

I'm Back!!

Well I promised I'd be back a week ago...Sorry, I've been busy the last week. I also promised an explanation of why the MIA. Well Hubby had a 4 day weekend and got to leave the base he's training on Memorial Weekend..SO I flew (my very first flying experience, btw) to Louisiana and we spent a wonderful 4 days together. He felt Brayden kick for the first time too!! Which by the way, Was the cutest thing ever. lol. It was an Awesome Weekend but it went WAY to fast. Now I have to wait a year until I see him again, well 6 months or so really since he does get r&r and all. BOOOO to Deployments!

So in the last week that I've been gone I've had my glucose test(boo) but evidently I didn't fail it because they haven't called me. lol. I've been super busy with my family this week too. I dont think I've even really spent ONE day at home. Whew. My mother wears me out...I forgot how much on the go she is ALL the time. I am now 29 weeks! Man, I cant believe how fast it's flying, I feel like it was just yesterday that I found out I was pregnant! Well, I think thats about all I have to say for today. I'll leave you with a picture of me and hubby from our fabulous 4 day weekend together.

This Weeks Questions Are:

What is one of the things you always do special when your husband returns from a deployment?

Well, I stock the fridge with his Favorite Things...Diet Mtn Dew and Whiskey..Plus his favorite foods. I also Make sure to have cheesecake waiting for him. Then I get the house nice and clean. The Day of Homecoming I get all prettied & dressed up(Usually, unless its a crazy early hour for me to pick him up) And go pick him up!

What do you do to help your spouse and/or yourself re-adjust after a deployment or long separation?

Since we do it almost every year, There's no question, We both just deal. I do give him leeway and let him do what he wants for a couple weeks. What else can you do other than be patient?

Are you a crazy coupon clipper (I’m becoming one, so share your secrets with me)?

Nope. I do clip coupons but I'm not Crazy about it. I do clip What I know I Need and Forget about the other coupons. But sometimes I forget to cip Coupons.

What’s your most treasured memory of you and your spouse (not counting your wedding – that’s a given)?

That's a tough one. I have so many memories with hubby that I treasure. But if I have to pick I'd have to say the day of my first ultrasound. Hearing the baby's heartbeat for the first time is absolutely amazing and hubby was so cute! It's either that or the day we found out Brayden was a boy...Thats another story itself.

If you could live anywhere overseas, what would you pick and why?

Hmm...Anywhere? I'm not sure. I've always wanted to See Italy so I guess I would pick Italy.

I hope everyone has a Fabulous weekend!!

Thursday Five

It's Thursday and time for Thursday 5! Link up with Flip Flops and Combat Boots!!
I haven't done one in a while but It's a great way to reflect on the week!
Just come up with five things that are:

Irresistible

Positive

Successful

Vibrant

Glorious

1. Hubby is always Irresistible, Just by being him. He's always surprising me with something and even with us apart, He still is so irresistible.

2. With Hubby deploying soon, I can't be Negative. Baby Brayden helps me stay Positive. I'm already in love with him and he's not even here yet. =D

3. I was Successful yesterday in not Going extremely crazy in the Baby Department. I tend to go crazy in Baby clothes. I haven't had my Baby Shower yet and His Closet is already full.

4. I Love Vibrant Colors. I show that off in my photography.

5. The most Glorious thing being pregnant is feeling my son Move & Kick. I Just Love to feel his little feet, butt and head when he pops one out, so to speak. =)

I hope everyone has a good rest of the day/evening.

Playing Catch-up. 30 Days of me, Days 13 - 16.

Since I've been MIA since January, I need to get back to 30 days of me. So in this post I'm going to do a few days. I promise I'll do an actual post soon. I'm just super busy right now getting ready for my trip to see hubby.

Day 13: A fictional book

I absolutely love Nicholas Sparks and ALL his books. I'm sure everyone's either read this book or seen the movie based off of it. But it's basically a love story. I love it! For more info on it go here.

Day 14: A non-fictional book

This book was written by a Army Wife named Sara Dawalt. I just love this book. I bought it on Amazon during Michael's last deployment for a kind of encouragement. I got quite a few of them actually. But I love this book alot. Sara talks about her personal experiences during her husbands 365 day deployment to Iraq. After I finished reading it, I had my mom read it so she could get a better understanding of what I was going through. If you want to know more about it or even buy it, click here.

Day 15: A fanfic
Ummmm...So I have no idea what this is so I cant really put anything here. lol.

Day 16: A song that makes you cry (or nearly)

The first time I heard this song, it was just a couple days after we found out Hubby was deploying again So I was already emotional but this song had me bawling. I love it.

That's it for today! More Tomorrow. I hope everyone had a Great Tuesday!

MilSpouse Friday Fill-In #40

Well, I've missed a BUNCH of MilSpouse Fridays, lol. But I love them so much. It's a little late but here it is:

Wanna Join in? Head on over to Wife of a Sailor for details and link up.

This Weeks Questions Are:

Which was the best day of your life- Wedding day or Homecoming day?

Hmmm...I'd have to say Wedding Day. We have many Homecoming days and though they are Ah-Mazing, They are still just that...Homecoming Days. My Wedding was a Once in a lifetime deal and It was an absolutely amazing day.

Were you a part of the joining the military question or did you sign up for the relationship when your man was already in the military?

Well, I wasn't a Part of his choice but I did voice my opinion. We were just really Close friends when he made the decision but I knew I wanted more. I was already in love with him.

What is your favorite Disney movie and why?

Oh. That is a Hard one!! I can't Pick! I always loved Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmations, Beauty & the Beast and The Little Mermaid when I was a little girl. I still love the Classics.

What is your favorite family activity to do on the weekends?

Putt-Putt Golf, Bowling, Fishing, Geocaching, The Park....Pretty much anything outdoors if it's nice out. If its not nice out then Movies or Just staying in.

Where do you secretly wish you could be stationed with you/your SO’s line of work (realistically speaking, not everyone can be stationed on NAS Fiji)?

Ummm...Yeah, I have no idea honestly. Lol. I would love to be stationed in Italy though.

If you missed my update below, Check it out.

Updates!

Hey Everyone!! It's been a while since I've updated! I'm so sorry, My Internet for some odd reason always acts up when I get on Blogger. There's SO Much to catch everyone up on!!!

in March we found out Michael was deploying for a year. It was devastating especially when it meant He's going to miss the birth of our First Child & the first 10 months of our Child's Life. We tried so many things to stop it from happening but unfortunately he's deploying Very soon. On March 30th We found out the baby is a BOY!!! We're naming him Brayden Michael and he's Due August 19th!

In April, I moved home to Missouri to be with Me & Hubby's Families while he's deployed. Hubby left for Combat Training and is currently at Training.

This month, I've just been spending my time with family and friends...And Buying Baby Stuff! Hubby has a 4 day weekend at the end of this month and can leave training for them 4 days So I am flying back to Louisiana to spend those 4 days with him. I can't wait to see him & I am So excited that he finally gets to feel Brayden kick!! He wasn't kicking yet when we said our goodbyes in April. After that 4 day weekend Hubby will be going back to finish his training & I will be flying back to Missouri. Hubby will Deploy shortly after and We won't see each other until He comes home for his R&R and Brayden will probably be about 4 months old then. =( I knew what I was getting into when we said I do but I just never imagined us being one of the couples who gets pregnant and wont be together at the birth. It's killing me and I know its killing him. It's heartbreaking but we will survive. We're a strong couple and now Family.

Well, I think that's about it. Brayden's a healthy growing baby, He kicks mommy more & more everyday. He discovered my ribs yesterday :/ lol. Well, Its late and I need to get some Sleep. I promise I'll be on more often! I hope everyone has a Great Weekend!
