Pst. Oh my!

Wow! I haven't been on here in almost a year. The reason is my moms Internet SUCKED & My posts always took so long to post or messed up, etc. but I'm back! I found an iPhone app so maybe I can keep up now! Now for my Update since I've been gone for SO long.

The end of June, I left my moms and came back to Louisiana to prepare for Hubby's Homecoming! My Hubby came home July 1st, 2012! The end of July, We found out we're having Baby #2!! Yes, we didn't waste any time. Lol! In August we visited family in Missouri and also moved the rest of me & Brayden's stuff back to LA. In September, Hubby passed his test for the next rank in the Air Force, he passed for 2011 so now we're waiting for him to graduate School so he can sew on and get all that backpay! In October we moved into our own place(We had a roommate and I was over it. WAY to much drama while Michael was deployed). We also found out that Baby #2 is a GIRL!!! Which we are ecstatic about!! In November we visited home again, for Hubby to hunt and Thanksgiving. In December we really didn't do much. It was our first Christmas as a family which was great!

This month, Hubby's been in school so he can sew on and graduates in February.

Brayden is now 17 months old and so big! He says momma, dada, thank you, nana, num(yum), and several other things I can't think of at the moment. He learns and grow more every day.

I am now 31 weeks pregnant...due March 26th. With Annika(Ann-NAH-Kah) Jade. We are getting so excited and so Ready to meet her, especially me. I'm so incredibly miserable this pregnancy. Being Pregnant with a toddler isn't fun but add on an uncomfortable pregnancy and its NO FUN.

Well, I think that's about all I have for now. I hope I can get back on the Blog band wagon and get back on here.

With Love,
Mrs. D

Updates!

Wow. Its been 2 months since I updated! Brayden is now 5 months old..Him and his Daddy FINALLY met last month! It was so amazing:

That was such an amazing moment. Brayden knew his daddy, He even grabbed for him. =D Those 2 weeks were SO so so Amazing. It felt so good to have my little family together. It was Awesome seeing my boys together. They bonded so well. Then Hubbys Leave ended and Goodbye was So hard and emotional. I heard him over the baby monitor when he put Brayden down for bed and told him Goodbye for now. It was So Sweet and SO SO Sad. So Now Daddys back in the Sandbox and We're riding the last of this deployment out...Pretty soon we'll be planning Homecoming and then Brayden's 1st Birthday!! Time Flies Soooo Fast. So Thats all I have to say for now. I'll leave you with Pictures from Hubbys Visit.

I hope Everyone had a Great Day!

This Weeks Questions are

If I could be on any reality TV show, I'd want to be on
The Amazing Race, They seem to go on so many fun adventures.

This past Thanksgiving was
The first Thanksgiving in 5 years that I've spent away from Hubby...We've ALWAYS spent thanksgiving together, its the only holiday for some odd reason we've always got to spend together.

I'm looking forward to December because
it's My favorite month of the year! Plus it's Brayden's First Christmas!!

One thing I'd like to accomplish this month is
Catching up on my sleep! That is if Brayden allows. He sleeps well through the night now but I still haven't caught up on my sleep

To me, winter is
not fun. I do NOT like cold unless there's Snow on the ground. lol.

What is your favorite Christmas decoration in your house?
Hmmmm, This would Have to be...My Little Patriotic Christmas Tree. Yes, I have two Christmas Trees, normally. Though since I'm at my moms for this Christmas I only have my little tree. It's a 4' Blue(Literally) Tree, With White Lights and Red and White Ornaments. I LOVE it.

Do you finish your Christmas shopping early or are you a last minute type?
Well, I would say I'm in the middle. I'm not early but I'm not late. I just kinda buy as I go along too. For Example, Every time I go somewhere if I see something I want to get for a gift I throw it in the cart, When I feel like I've finally have bought enough for everyone, I'm done. lol.

When do you turn on your heat?
When it gets Cold, Whenever that is. Yes, It's cold out so The heat is on.

Do you ever wish your blog was private?
Nope. Not many People Know about it Anyways.

Do you put your deodorant on before of after you put on your shirt?
Most of The time it's Before. Sometimes After.

I hope Everyone has a Great Weekend! This weekend will be full of Christmas Festivities for me. Living Windows(cool event, Basically all the downtown businesses in the Capital City have little concerts and stuff in their windows. it's REALLY cool!) and then the Town Christmas Parade Saturday!

He's Hereeee and other Nonchalant Stuffs

Hello! First of all SO sorry for being MIA AGAIN. The last couple of months have been Busy busy busy. I was preparing for Brayden and then he came & is keeping me on my toes! He'll be 6 weeks on Wednesday! So I guess y'all wanna know all about his birth...

On August 20th, I started having contractions...But it wasn't hard labor. In the time span of the 20th through the 23rd I only dilated 1 1/2 cm. and had been to the hospital twice. I was Miserable with the contractions. On the 23rd, I went to see my OB and She decided to induce me the next day.

August 24th, 2011- I arrived at the hospital at 6:30 am. I was induced at about 7:30 am. My Contractions started to get regular and more intense at 8:30 am, Michael and I started Skyping, We Skyped the rest of the time. They broke my water at about 10 am. I got my Epidural at Noon. After that Everything was all goood. lol. At 4:15 pm I started Pushing, as my husband yelled through the laptop to push, my mom screaming push harder in my ear and my MIL being my good Coach, LOL...46 Minutes later at 5:01 pm Brayden Michael was born weighing 7 lbs, 5 oz and 19 in long with a FULL head of hair! He is the most handsome baby, If I say so myself. lol. He's good for the most part...Only cries and screams when he's hungry.

Hubby being Deployed is tough and he's dying not being here to hold his son but He sees him on Skype A LOT, I take lots of pictures and videos so he doesn't 'miss' to much. I'm exhausted but that's just the life of a new mommy. 2 Weeks after Brayden was born I got sick with Mastitis...that SUCKED. 104.1 Fever, Flu like symptoms and EXTREME breast pain. Yuck. I'm much better now though =) Well that's about all I have for now...or have time for. I leave you with Pictures of my Handsome Son.

Mil-Spouse Friday Fill In #49

Hey Ya'll. Sorry I've been MIA. I've just been Super busy with Brayden coming so soon, I've been preparing for him. So I'm going to attempt to blog more, no promises though because today marks 35 weeks!!! You guys know what that means? Pretty soon I'll be having this little munchkin of mine and then I'll be busy for a little while until I have a routine with him.
Hubby is now in the sandbox =( He left the end of June. So its been about 3 weeks now and I miss him like Crazy. I'm ready for this deployment to be over and it's barely started. Ugh. Oh well, Everyday is another day down.

It's Friday! That means its time for another Mil-Spouse Friday!!

Wanna Join in? Just head on over to Wife of a Sailor for details and to link up!!

This weeks Questions are:

If you could have a private concert with any singer, who would it be?
Hmmm...Blake Shelton. I love me some Blake *Licks lips* lol.

Is there anything you do to supplement your family’s income?
I don't. When we got married hubby told me I didn't have to work and I didn't drive so I didn't get a job for that reason. Maybe Someday I will get the job I want.

During your pregnancy (whether past, present, or future), what did you nickname your unborn baby before you knew the sex?
When we first found out and seen the first ultrasound, I started calling him my little bean. Then the next ultrasound, He looked like a little Bee and I told Hubby who thought I was crazy for calling our baby a bug, lol. But I started calling him our Lovebug.

Have you ever won a blog giveaway? If so what did you win?
Nope. I havent entered many either.

If I looked into your refrigerator right now, what would I find?
LOTS of stuff. Lol. I couldn't even tell you everything in my parents fridge, which since I'm here the next year is mine too. lol. We have 4 people in this house and they just throw the most craziest things in there and forget about them...Like the other I found Candy Corn from last Halloween!!!

Well thats about all I have for today! I hope everyone has a Fabulous Weekend!!

I'm Back!!

Well I promised I'd be back a week ago...Sorry, I've been busy the last week. I also promised an explanation of why the MIA. Well Hubby had a 4 day weekend and got to leave the base he's training on Memorial Weekend..SO I flew (my very first flying experience, btw) to Louisiana and we spent a wonderful 4 days together. He felt Brayden kick for the first time too!! Which by the way, Was the cutest thing ever. lol. It was an Awesome Weekend but it went WAY to fast. Now I have to wait a year until I see him again, well 6 months or so really since he does get r&r and all. BOOOO to Deployments!

So in the last week that I've been gone I've had my glucose test(boo) but evidently I didn't fail it because they haven't called me. lol. I've been super busy with my family this week too. I dont think I've even really spent ONE day at home. Whew. My mother wears me out...I forgot how much on the go she is ALL the time. I am now 29 weeks! Man, I cant believe how fast it's flying, I feel like it was just yesterday that I found out I was pregnant! Well, I think thats about all I have to say for today. I'll leave you with a picture of me and hubby from our fabulous 4 day weekend together.

MilSpouse Friday Fill-In #41

It's Friday!! You know what that means?? I'm another week in Pregnancy! I'm 27 Weeks Today!!! Ahhh!! I'm so excited! Next Friday, I probably won't be posting. Actually, Next Thursday-Tuesday I will be MIA...again. Sorry, I promise I'll be back Wednesday with full details of why. It's very Exciting!!! You know what else Friday Means..It's time for another MilSpouse Friday Fill-In!!

Wanna Join in? Just Head on Over to Wife of a Sailor for details and To Link up!!

This Weeks Questions Are:

What is one of the things you always do special when your husband returns from a deployment?

Well, I stock the fridge with his Favorite Things...Diet Mtn Dew and Whiskey..Plus his favorite foods. I also Make sure to have cheesecake waiting for him. Then I get the house nice and clean. The Day of Homecoming I get all prettied & dressed up(Usually, unless its a crazy early hour for me to pick him up) And go pick him up!

What do you do to help your spouse and/or yourself re-adjust after a deployment or long separation?

Since we do it almost every year, There's no question, We both just deal. I do give him leeway and let him do what he wants for a couple weeks. What else can you do other than be patient?

Are you a crazy coupon clipper (I’m becoming one, so share your secrets with me)?

Nope. I do clip coupons but I'm not Crazy about it. I do clip What I know I Need and Forget about the other coupons. But sometimes I forget to cip Coupons.

What’s your most treasured memory of you and your spouse (not counting your wedding – that’s a given)?

That's a tough one. I have so many memories with hubby that I treasure. But if I have to pick I'd have to say the day of my first ultrasound. Hearing the baby's heartbeat for the first time is absolutely amazing and hubby was so cute! It's either that or the day we found out Brayden was a boy...Thats another story itself.

If you could live anywhere overseas, what would you pick and why?

Hmm...Anywhere? I'm not sure. I've always wanted to See Italy so I guess I would pick Italy.

I hope everyone has a Fabulous weekend!!

Thursday Five

It's Thursday and time for Thursday 5! Link up with Flip Flops and Combat Boots!!
I haven't done one in a while but It's a great way to reflect on the week!
Just come up with five things that are:

Irresistible

Positive

Successful

Vibrant

Glorious

1. Hubby is always Irresistible, Just by being him. He's always surprising me with something and even with us apart, He still is so irresistible.

2. With Hubby deploying soon, I can't be Negative. Baby Brayden helps me stay Positive. I'm already in love with him and he's not even here yet. =D

3. I was Successful yesterday in not Going extremely crazy in the Baby Department. I tend to go crazy in Baby clothes. I haven't had my Baby Shower yet and His Closet is already full.

4. I Love Vibrant Colors. I show that off in my photography.

5. The most Glorious thing being pregnant is feeling my son Move & Kick. I Just Love to feel his little feet, butt and head when he pops one out, so to speak. =)

I hope everyone has a good rest of the day/evening.

Playing Catch-up. 30 Days of me, Days 13 - 16.

Since I've been MIA since January, I need to get back to 30 days of me. So in this post I'm going to do a few days. I promise I'll do an actual post soon. I'm just super busy right now getting ready for my trip to see hubby.

Day 13: A fictional book

I absolutely love Nicholas Sparks and ALL his books. I'm sure everyone's either read this book or seen the movie based off of it. But it's basically a love story. I love it! For more info on it go here.

Day 14: A non-fictional book

This book was written by a Army Wife named Sara Dawalt. I just love this book. I bought it on Amazon during Michael's last deployment for a kind of encouragement. I got quite a few of them actually. But I love this book alot. Sara talks about her personal experiences during her husbands 365 day deployment to Iraq. After I finished reading it, I had my mom read it so she could get a better understanding of what I was going through. If you want to know more about it or even buy it, click here.

Day 15: A fanfic
Ummmm...So I have no idea what this is so I cant really put anything here. lol.

Day 16: A song that makes you cry (or nearly)

The first time I heard this song, it was just a couple days after we found out Hubby was deploying again So I was already emotional but this song had me bawling. I love it.

That's it for today! More Tomorrow. I hope everyone had a Great Tuesday!

Wanna Join in? Head on over to Wife of a Sailor for details and link up.

This Weeks Questions Are:

Which was the best day of your life- Wedding day or Homecoming day?

Hmmm...I'd have to say Wedding Day. We have many Homecoming days and though they are Ah-Mazing, They are still just that...Homecoming Days. My Wedding was a Once in a lifetime deal and It was an absolutely amazing day.

Were you a part of the joining the military question or did you sign up for the relationship when your man was already in the military?

Well, I wasn't a Part of his choice but I did voice my opinion. We were just really Close friends when he made the decision but I knew I wanted more. I was already in love with him.

What is your favorite Disney movie and why?

Oh. That is a Hard one!! I can't Pick! I always loved Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmations, Beauty & the Beast and The Little Mermaid when I was a little girl. I still love the Classics.

What is your favorite family activity to do on the weekends?

Putt-Putt Golf, Bowling, Fishing, Geocaching, The Park....Pretty much anything outdoors if it's nice out. If its not nice out then Movies or Just staying in.

Where do you secretly wish you could be stationed with you/your SO’s line of work (realistically speaking, not everyone can be stationed on NAS Fiji)?

Ummm...Yeah, I have no idea honestly. Lol. I would love to be stationed in Italy though.

If you missed my update below, Check it out.

Updates!

Hey Everyone!! It's been a while since I've updated! I'm so sorry, My Internet for some odd reason always acts up when I get on Blogger. There's SO Much to catch everyone up on!!!

in March we found out Michael was deploying for a year. It was devastating especially when it meant He's going to miss the birth of our First Child & the first 10 months of our Child's Life. We tried so many things to stop it from happening but unfortunately he's deploying Very soon. On March 30th We found out the baby is a BOY!!! We're naming him Brayden Michael and he's Due August 19th!

In April, I moved home to Missouri to be with Me & Hubby's Families while he's deployed. Hubby left for Combat Training and is currently at Training.

This month, I've just been spending my time with family and friends...And Buying Baby Stuff! Hubby has a 4 day weekend at the end of this month and can leave training for them 4 days So I am flying back to Louisiana to spend those 4 days with him. I can't wait to see him & I am So excited that he finally gets to feel Brayden kick!! He wasn't kicking yet when we said our goodbyes in April. After that 4 day weekend Hubby will be going back to finish his training & I will be flying back to Missouri. Hubby will Deploy shortly after and We won't see each other until He comes home for his R&R and Brayden will probably be about 4 months old then. =( I knew what I was getting into when we said I do but I just never imagined us being one of the couples who gets pregnant and wont be together at the birth. It's killing me and I know its killing him. It's heartbreaking but we will survive. We're a strong couple and now Family.

Well, I think that's about it. Brayden's a healthy growing baby, He kicks mommy more & more everyday. He discovered my ribs yesterday :/ lol. Well, Its late and I need to get some Sleep. I promise I'll be on more often! I hope everyone has a Great Weekend!

What do you like most about your job?

Well, Im not employed...I'm a Stay at Home Wife so I guess I'll tell you about that...What I love best is being able to stay home and keep a clean house and cook...I actually Love  to cook!

What are three things you do every day, no matter what day it is?

Hmm...Feed the dogs, Cook, Sleep. lol.

What would you do with an extra five hours in the day today?

I'm not sure but I'm positive I'd figure out something..lol.

What is your favorite Christmas (or whichever holiday you celebrate) cookie recipe (please share!)?

These cookies I discovered last year...The Recipe is from Pillsbury and can be found

MilSpouse Friday Fill-In # 19

It's Friday and you know what that means. Its time for another MilSpouse Friday Fill-In. Want to join in? Head on over to Wife of a Sailor for details and to link up!

This week’s questions are:

♥ What’s the nicest thing a stranger has ever done for you?

When someone acknowledges me as a military wife. It always feels so good when a stranger doesn't just thank him but me too. Plus I always feel super proud when someone thanks him.

♥ If you are having a hard time going to sleep, what do you do to help yourself?

Put in a movie or turn on the TV, Play on my Nintendo DS, or get online.

♥ Name something that makes you wish you were a kid again.

Bills, Housework, Men. lol. It was so much easier when I was kid and didn't have to worry about bills, money, a clean house and a happy man. All I had to worry about was playing and keeping friends. lol.

♥ What is something you never believed until you experienced it?

A Happy Marriage. I grew up with my mom single or with many men. Then she married my step dad when I was 8 and they're relationship isn't abusive but they don't seem happy. They constantly argue and are always mad at each other. Then I married Michael and learned about love, compromise and happiness in a marriage.

♥ What can’t you say “no” to?

Hubby. I have an absolute hard time telling him no. Even though we shouldn't spend money constantly, Hubby still always ends up convincing me otherwise. He always has an answer for everything.

Awesome Questions!! Well, This weekend will be our last weekend here for a few weeks. As I said previously, We're going home to Missouri on leave. I can't wait!! This weekend will also be fun due to Halloween!! Me and hubby will hopefully get to wear our matching costumes this year to a costume party. Last year, we ended up not being able to because he got called in due to the River Flooding. We will see. Well, that's about it for today. I hope ya'll have a Wonderful Weekend and Happy Halloween!!

30 Days of Me - Day 12

I started this Last week and never submitted it. My blogger still wont load half the time. So sorry yall I'm slacking. I'm on Day 12 of 30 Days of me and it is whatever tickles your fancy so I'm just gonna go ahead and start there.

Day 12: Whatever tickles your fancy

In a week, We'll be in Missouri. Just visiting. But I'm sooo excited to be going home and see everyone!! Plus Hubbys gonna get us some deer!! YUM. lol. I love home. I always use to hate Missouri. I lived there my whole life and just couldn't wait to get out of there...But now, I miss my home state and my hometown. And even though the small town I grew up in is nothing but gossip and drama....I miss my town. I miss homecoming games. I miss Christmas time events. I miss the Seasons in Missouri. The beautiful spring weather. Fall in My town....its so pretty. I grew up a country girl, not a girly girl. I love getting dirty. I'm not a girl that gets grossed out instantly and screams. You wouldnt believe that if you seen me react to a bug, however. Thats my roots and thats how I will stay. I can't wait til next week to say the least. =)

MilSpouse Friday Fill-In

It's Friday!! You know what that means...It's time for another MilSpouse Friday Fill-In. If you wanna join, Head on over to Wife of a Sailor for details and to link up.

Are you a night owl or an early bird?
I'm a night owl for sure...I just love night time and I'm definately not a big morning person. I hate mornings. lol.

What makes you jealous?
When hubbys deployed, I'm jealous of all the people that get to see their hubbys/boyfriends/fiances daily, and also the people hes deployed with who do get to see him daily. When hes home, Relationships he has with certain people. I know I shouldnt be jealous of that but I sometimes I am.

Have you started Christmas/holiday shopping yet? When will you finish? (There’s only 63 days left!)
Nope. I really should have. I knew we would be broke this month, next month and December due to moving..Thats okay. We got accepted to Sears' Heroes at Home. 63 days? Thats it? Wow.

What would you have a personal chef make you tonight?
Hmmmm...I'm not sure. Something mouth-watering...

Where was your first kiss?
Well...My first peck on the lips kiss was when I was 2. Yes, 2. It was the neighborhood boy. lol. and our moms got pictures of it. My first real kiss was when I was 15.

Good questions this week. I'm sorry I've been MIA again this week. For some reason bloggers been acting up for me. It won't load half of the time.
This weekend should be a good one. We're having a little house warming party/friend get together tonight. It shall be fun, hopefully. lol. We're getting a new couch and chair tonight. Im super excited about that! I dont know what else is planned this weekend. We'll be going home to visit Missouri in a couple weeks...less than that actually. So I'm unpacking but preparing for that. lol.

If I don't post on Monday it's because we're getting our dogs spayed and neutered. So I'll be busy Monday. Well, I hope ya'll have a wonderful weekend!!
